Shalom.
Wow! It’s been two weeks since I last posted. Things are better since then. God is faithful, especially when we persevere. It has been two weeks of persevering. And the last week has been one of great blessing. My heart will choose to say, “Blessed be Your name!”
I want to share a verse with you that was given to me midweek. It’s brief but powerful to encourage.
Meditate on that for a bit. God knows all that you are doing for Him, whether it’s some great feeding of the poor or your faithful worship and intercession in your prayer closet. He knows. He records. He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
There is a good sigh in there for those of us who labor sometimes without seeing fruit. We sometimes are plowmen or sowers who never see what the reaper harvests. Still, God knows and records your faithfulness.
Immediately after that cool breeze of a verse, we get an encouraging exhortation, a piece of beef jerky, if you will, to chew on while you work.
So we hear, be encouraged and be diligent to the end. Imitate those around you who you see inheriting their promises. Why do they inherit? Because they persevere.
One more thought provoking verse. In Hebrews 11 we have the “Hall of Faith,” our spiritual forefathers who persevered. At the end of the chapter it says this:
What? These great men and women of faith that we look up to are only made complete in our faith. Seriously. We are carrying the torches they carried. It is a relay race, and we are responsible for our leg.
Persevere. Run. Persevere.

I was searching for a verse to say to someone that God sees the good works they are doing – I ran across your post and am sorry to say I do not know you – but as you have stated through his messages – God sees the good works you are doing and others do as well even strangers you may never know of at least in this world – if people especially so many proclaiming to be Christians can realize this and even far greater to know ‘ the children are watching ‘ that we might wonder why our country is in bad shape- for God also sees the selfishness that has led us to this place – yet he will take a few in his army to conquer a great army of evil – thank you for your good works.
In Gods Love,
a brother in service to the Lord
