A Vision Received by Rick Ridings in Jerusalem As we were worshipping in Succat Hallel, I saw the majesty and sovereignty of the Lion of Judah, as He sat on a Throne above the Temple Mount. He was so perfectly calm, so absolutely in control. He had been watching for a long time to the North, South, East, and West as thousands of small demons had been frantically building wooden bridges to Jerusalem. At the […]
I am sure you are aware the recent wave of terror attacks in Israel, centered in Jerusalem. Since October 1st and until today – October 16th, the number of casualties is: 7 have lost their lives, 99 were injured, among them 10 are in severe medical condition. Many have been asking how we have been led to pray in Succat Hallel. Here are a few major points: I Believe We Are to “Re-Enforce” a “Gag […]
I recently had a vision of a new season in the Middle East defined by the re-drawing of its borders. I saw angels being released who had sashes over their shoulders on which were written the phrase “Border angel”. They were being sent forth to reset borders according to their original ethnic calling. In the Scriptures, the word “nations” is not used in our modern sense of “nation states” but more in the sense of “peoples” or “ethnic groups”. Many of the crises facing the Middle East can be traced to the colonial powers’ decision to re-draw the map of the Middle East (also in Africa) as modern nation states, putting warring tribal and religious groupings in the same nation state, and dividing united tribal or religious groups into different nation states.
We as prayer leaders must beware to not just pray into “the tyranny of the urgent,” and we must not just use a shotgun approach in this era of information overload. Rather than just praying in response to the flood of news coming our way, we need to learn to enter into the “council of the Lord” like Daniel, one of the greatest intercessors of the Bible. Daniel was a man who understood the times and the seasons. Rick Ridings and others see a convergence of three factors which, taken together, would seem to say that the Lord is drawing our attention to be alert and seeking His counsel as to how we should pray in these “hinge years” of 2014/2015.
Jesus doesn’t say “Leave the kids with a babysitter while you have great times in my Presence.” He is saying a little child can enter into the kingdom of God. He’s saying it’s actually easier for them than it is for us. Why? Because a lot of what we adults think we know, we have to unlearn before we can enter into the kingdom of God. We have underestimated what children can do as we release them to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
