Suddenly, after months of quiet, there are two new posts on the blog. Why the silence? Why the double post?
I last left Jerusalem more than a year and half ago for what I thought would be a few months. Alas, it turned to 18 months … of waiting, of trials, of time with family, of waiting.
Finally, after prayer (and much waiting 😉 ), the LORD opened the door to return to Jerusalem. Only this time, my time is split. Well, it supposed to be. I now serve as the media volunteer for Christ Church Jerusalem. This first month back has been busy, so busy that I didn’t have time to catch you up on my return, Passover and Holy Week, never mind all the political happenings here in Israel and abroad.
Some of you have asked why there haven’t been many posts. Some of you thought maybe your email address got dropped off. No, it wasn’t you. It was me.
I am eager to again share Jerusalem with you, to continue to explain the Jewishness of the Gospel of Yeshua Messiah, to share what I see as we await Messiah’s return.
I just have to find my balance. The restart here may be slow, maybe just one post a week. I am still seeking the LORD about what this site’s focus should be. Ideally, I’d like to get back to two or three posts a week.
If we get back to multiple posts a week, there will be a change in the email subscriptions. There will eventually be an option to receive posts daily or to receive a weekly digest. You who are subscribed by email will get a notice on how to chose one or the other.
Thank you so much for your readership, your prayers and your encouraging words. Your comments (and story ideas) are welcome.
