Believers of Jesus bombed, trafficked, imprisoned

This issue highlights the persecuted church. The writer of Hebrews exhorts us:

Remember those in prison and being mistreated, as if you were in prison with them and undergoing their torture yourselves. (Hebrews 13:3 CJB)

Also,  Yeshua lists an increase in frequency and intensity of persecution as a sign of the His coming.

At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me. (Matthew 24:9 CJB)

So let us pray for our brothers in Messiah even as we continue looking for Messiah’s coming that will make all things right and new.

The Week in Review is late because Paper.li, the site that generates the nifty “newspaper” below, was down for more than 24 hours this weekend. All seems to be in order now.

Paper.li works a little like a newspaper. It categorizes the news into topics and is interactive. Click a topic on the right-hand column to “flip the page” and see another set of headlines. #Church includes headlines about persecution of the brothers. #Israel as all stories about “the apple of God’s eye.” #Matthew24 highlight end-time birth pangs detailed by Jesus.
