Obama’s Israel visit still reverberates

Polls continue to show that his visit changed Israelis’ perception of his position on the Palestinian question. Still, while many in the general public have been swayed, the No. 3 in Israel’s government gave a word of warning on his Facebook page. Naftali Bennett said (in an English translation by Arutz Sheva):

“The general atmosphere reminded me of the Oslo era. The feeling as if … ‘if we only will it, if we are only able to cede enough ground, the long-awaited peace will come.'”

Bennett, to make his skepticism clear, reminded how the Second Intifada (Arab for uprising) started not long after Camp David Peace Summit failed in 2000.

As we remember the suffering of Yeshua and His resurrection, let us also remember our brothers suffering for the faith around the world.
