The big news this week in the United States was the first presidential debate, or rather that Mitt Romney came out swinging and put President Barak Obama on the defensive. Israel is watching the election closely, as many Israelis do not trust Obama.
Sadly, there were several devastating attacks on Christians:
- Door-to-door executions of university students in Nigeria
- Grenade tossed into children’s church in Kenya
- House church raided in China
- Pastor’s attorney imprisoned in Iran
Israel reported Saturday that it shot down an unmanned aircraft over the Israeli desert. No word yet who launched it, though the army reportedly suspects Hezbollah out of Lebanon.
