Here are a sample of photos from the Elav 2012 youth conference in Tel Aviv. There are many more than these (and I’ve posted too many) but these will give you a sense of how the weekend went. (List of Elav related posts).
Pictured here is the next generation of worshipers and intercessors willing to press into God for His will to be done in the Middle East. These are young men and women willing to share in one another’s culture. Jews dancing to Arabic music. Arabs singing in Hebrew. (And some internationals peppered among the Israelis and Palestinians).
Also, these were young people not only open to receive from the Holy Spirit but who also literally cried out and wept for their people.
There is at least one story I want to tell you from the conference, so stay tuned for another post soon.
The song on the slide show is “Bou Nehalel Oto” (Come Let Us Praise Him) by David Seguin from the Elav Vol. 1 album. The slideshow app only let me use one song, which is why it loops. The lyrics are out of Psalm 95. You can buy the album from JerusalemPraise.com and download the song sheets for free.
