A very brief roundup of last week’s news. I know there is so much happening in the world right now. But we who are safe in the West are very preoccupied — for better or for worse — with the Christmas holiday, family and the coming New Year. Remember our persecuted brothers. That’s the reminder we got from Africa on Christmas Day.

Please forgive me for not posting news in weeks. I’ve let some things distract me. Now, I’m in Texas for the holidays. BUT, there was so much news today that I couldn’t ignore it. Kim Jong Ill is dead, and Egypt is in turmoil again.

scaves100This month Believers in Jesus Christ will be hitting the streets of San Antonio, Texas, visiting local strip clubs. Yes, you read it right — strip clubs! God has called us to go into the world and shed His light in dark places.And we are ready to do just that. We will be showing His love to some of the ladies that are working these establishments. We want to reach out to them and let them know that we do not condemn them, but that we love them, with the love of Christ Jesus! And that God has a much better plan for their lives.
