For Messiah is our peace, who made both [Jews and gentiles] into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity … so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:14-16 NASB (paraphrased)
Just a quick missive from the Elav Youth Conference:

Elav 2011

Here we have Jews on the left and Arabs on the left — all believers in Yeshua — praying for one another and creating a human bridge with their arms.

The morning session was filled with powerful testimonies of forgiveness and faith in Messiah despite persecution. A woman trapped in a wheel chair walks again after forgiving the men who lynched her soldier son. Arab men who defied tradition, custom, family, bodily harm to hold on to Jesus in Bethlehem… yes, Bethlehem.

Please continue to pray as the event goes on through Tuesday night. Check out my previous post for prayer points. The evening sessions are being broadcast on God TV (you can watch online, too, at God.tv).
