Prayer Alert: Naksa threat in Israel

Here is the latest prayer alert from Succat Hallel, a house of prayer in Jerusalem. This alert concerns the Naksa protests being called by some militant Arabs.

You may remember that May 15, Palestinians in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria rushed the borders of Israel for the Nakba, or catastrophe, protests. About a dozen were killed as protestors illegally crossed into Israel from the north. May 15 is the day the Palestinians mourn the creation of the state of Israel in 1948.

Naksa is Arabic for setback and mourns the defeat of four Arab nations by Israel during the Six-Day War in 1967. Again, protestors are calling for a rush of Israel borders and even Ben Gurion airport. The other nations from which these protests are starting aren’t thrilled. Reports today say that the march from Lebanon has been postponed because of pressure from the Lebanese government.

Since January, Rick Ridings — founder of Succat Hallel — has been telling of a dream he had warning about witchcraft against Israel. He urges us to pray Numbers 23:23:

23 There is no divination against Jacob,
   no evil omens against Israel.
It will now be said of Jacob
and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’
(Numbers 23:23, New International Version)

If you are an intercessor of Israel, please watch the video below and listen to word of the LORD emanate from Zion. Shalom.
