The big news of the week has been the continuing battle over Libya. Saturday, Egyptian protesters stormed the security headquarters. The shaking in North Africa continues, and the effects are being felt as far as China.
President Obama tried to comfort Israel this week by telling Democratic donors in Miami: “All the forces that we see building in Egypt are the forces that should be naturally aligned with us. Should be aligned with Israel.” Obama’s optimism looks extremely naive in light of history and in light of the stated goals of those leading the uprising in Egypt.
So continue to pray that God’s will be done as time continues its march through the foretold shakings and groanings toward the return of the King.
