Why Israel matters – Saturday night

Shabbat shalom, friends.

I’m very excited to invite you to a teaching on Saturday night. I know it’s short notice, but if you’re in the El Paso area and are free Saturday night, consider it.

I’m excited, not because I’m teaching, but because of the topic: Why Israel Matters. This is an issue very close to my heart. Because of ignorance and bad teaching, the Body of Christ has too long — at best — ignored our Jewish brothers and — at worst — hated and persecuted them.

“Jesus the Christ” is just a transliterated Greek form of Yeshua the Messiah. Our Lord is a Jew. Yes, IS a Jew — born into the tribe of Judah, observant all his life. His promises of the Kingdom of Heaven were to Israel first. We outsiders get to partake because — at the foundation — it was God’s plan all along. And now, the believer in Jesus is commanded to love the Jew (Romans 11).

Come listen how Paul — the apostle sent to the non-Jews — never let go of his place as a Jew — a Pharisee even — nor his passionate love for his brethren, even those who rejected Jesus as the Messiah promised by all the prophets.

WHAT: Why Israel Matters by Rabbi Saul
WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 19, 7 p.m.
WHERE: Justice House of Prayer
              1317 E. Missouri Ave. (79902)

I’ve been wanting to introduce y’all to JHOP, the house of prayer here in El Paso. I will do a post on JHOP soon, but if you’re free, come out Saturday and meet some passionate intercessors who stand before God on behalf of El Paso, Juarez and more.

    1. Amber, we may record audio, which I usually then pair with the slideshow. I’ll announce here if I do. If not, I have another version of teaching recorded… and I’ve been meaning to get that up on YouTube. I’ll let you know. Thank you for your interest.
